_{The Eighth All India Rajendra Golcha Memorial
Bridge Tournament began in a glittering ceremony At Jai Club, Jaipur. The Tournament was
Inaugurated by Hon'ble Shri. Kanwar Jeet Singh, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Jaipur.}

_{The tournament is gaining popularity every year. This year
sixty teams from various parts of the country are participating with over 300 players.
Thirty of them are female players. The highest number of teams have come from Pune,
Ahmedabad and Delhi.}

_{Besides these places, teams many teams have
come from MP, UP, Haryana, Punjan, Andhra Pradesh.}

_{The tournament is being conducted under the directorship of Mr. Ramesh
Nevatia. Mr. M.M.Joshi, Mr. D. Banerji and Mr. Bhupendra Sharma are officiating as
Directors.}

_{There are three events viz. Team of Four(Duplicate), Master
Pairs Event and Board-a-Match.}

_{The Prize Money for the Winner of Team of Four is
Rs.20,000, Rs.10,000 for the Runner Up. The same for the Winner of Master Pairs is
Rs.15,000, Runner Up Rs. 7,000, Rs. 3,000 for the Second Runner Up, Rs. 2000 for the Third
Runner Up.}

_{Similarly Quarter Final and Semi Final Runner Up team will
get Rs.6000 each.}

_{Winners of A,B and C teams of Board-a-Match will get Rs. 2000
each and the Runner Ups Rs.1000 each.}
